Floral Design Day At Best Buds
Have you ever heard of a fella by the name of Carl Rittner?
We doubt it but you have more than likely experienced his influence, even if you don’t know who he is. You see, Mr Rittner was the founder of Boston’s Rittner School of Floral Design, and most people credit him for making flower arranging an art. Although we have been arranging flowers now for thousands of years, Rittner saw flower arranging as artistry.
February 28th is National Floral Design Day, a day that florists everywhere, and people who love flowers, can celebrate the art of flowers. While fields of flowers found in nature are almost always beautiful, there is real creativity involved in turning blooms into a beautiful arrangement. Best Buds floral experts excel in organizing different flower types and colors to create a unique piece of floral art that is truly one of a kind.
Perhaps you haven't thought about the way flower arrangements are constructed, but careful consideration is given by the florists to how the each flower in an arrangement will relate and complement the other. A good florist never just places a bunch of flowers in a vase and calls it a day.
To celebrate National Florist Day, we would like to invite you to have Best Buds create a unique handcrafted arrangement for you. Either pick an arrangement from our online store or we can create something beautiful just for you.
February is one of the busiest months for flowers, but there is still plenty of months left to enjoy the beauty of flowers and flower arrangements. We are always getting new flower choices in, depending on the season. Come by the store in Oliver Square and see what we can create for you.
