Welcome to Best Buds Flower Co in the Lavender House!
Best Buds Flower Co has called Edmonton’s historic Oliver neighborhood home for over twenty exciting, beautiful, and blossoming years. Originally run by two close friends named Rhonda—“best buds”--the business was purchased by its current owner Kimberly Wagil-Karpan in 2006. In 2019, we celebrated our 13th birthday by moving from our long-term retail storefront in Oliver Square into the Lavender House amongst the elm tree lined streets south of 104 Avenue. Our house has become a home to not just us, but the house finches that have taken up residence in our planters and caragana bushes and the occasional neighbourhood cat.
Moving into our forever home has allowed us to expand as a business by creating close relationships with a growing base of valuable clientele, including working as the Florist of Choice for the Foundry Room, offering two unique workshop spaces, and carrying a carefully curated selection of locally made goods. We are grateful to boast a passionate and creative team who are always excited to bring your floral vision to life with a custom design. Owner Kimberly has made the shop what it is today—a warm and welcoming environment where you are encouraged to stop in to smell the flowers, say hello, and enjoy a cookie baked by Kimberly herself.
